A fun day in Hannibal

Today we woke up to the hurricane.  Noah came in my room.  I was SO sleepy because Caleb had another bad night.  Anyway, Noah came running in from the bathroom saying the lights were going off and on.  We laid in bed a while longer and sure enough the lights surged and then we heard a pop and off went all the lights.  The lights did not come back on until about 8pm.
Since we had no power and it was raining, hard, we decided to take a drive.  The day had to start off at the 'doughnut' store.  All our Saturdays pretty much start that way.  We drove and ended up in Hannibal Missouri.  The day turned out to be a little cool, but no rain.  It was such a fun day.  We went to a cute Train Store/Museum.  The boys had a great time.  You could push buttons and make things happen, like stop signs blinking, people coming out of buildings, etc.  We bought the boys Thomas Train whistles then headed to lunch.  There was a cafe right next door.  The boys actually ate and behaved very well.  So, I pretty much love that restaurant.  After a good lunch we went by a cute little old fashioned candy store where the boy got to pick out a couple of things each.  Noah picked 3 pieces of chocolate and Caleb picked an elephant sucker and a piece of chocolate.  The sweets didn't stop there.  Across the street was an ice cream shop, so we stopped there for me.  I got Mint Chip and Noah got Strawberry.  It was really good.  We watched a train go by and walked up a very long staircase.  It was a neat place to visit.  On the way home we stopped at a gas station and Byron brought the boys ring pops, because they did not have enough sugar :)
When we got home we still didn't have power.  Noah and I were just about to walk to the neighbors and watch the power company cutting up a tree when Noah tripped and fell face first into the concrete stairs.  He split his lip and scrapped up his leg.  We had to get a wet rag for his lip.  By the time we got to the neighbors house we missed all the action, but met some nice neighbors.  Caleb and Elijah were home getting a bath by flashlight.  After that Daddy and Caleb went to the recycle center while Noah, Elijah and I went to the firehouse to have a firefighter listen to Elijah.  I thought he was having breathing problems again.  He was not wheezing but there was something they heard.  They thought it would be good to have a breathing treatment.  I told them I didn't have power and I'd have to go to my parents house, so they did the treatment for me.  I think we are going to have another asthema baby.  Time will tell.
Enjoy the pictures from Hannibal.  I didn't take my good camera, so the quality will not be quite like the others.
