A big day for Elijah!!!!

Elijah took his first step today!  It was SO cool.  For the past couple of days he's been trying to take a step going between the ottoman to the couch, but it's been more of a lunge step.  Today in the kitchen he took a real step and didn't fall right after!  He's such a sweet boy.  Noah, Caleb and I pretty much through a big party for him.  He had such a proud smile on his face.  Very cool day.

Right now I'm getting ready for the Edward Jones/YMCA Ladies Night Out event, Wednesday the 10th 6-9 pm.  I have a table there and will be handing out business card magnets.  You can also sign up for a drawing to win a free session and 8x10.  I'm very excited about it.  This is my first event like this.  Come on out and check it out.  There are a lot of different vendors, so there is something for everyone.  I'm going to have my cards there.

Wednesday I start CBS and am very excited about doing that.  I really want to have a relationship with God like I had when I was a new Christian.  I've been SO out of touch with Him for too long.  I miss the hunger I had back then.  I want to study the bible and love it.  My prayer is that the hunger will come back and I'll begin to study the bible like I use to.  My children deserve the best from me and that is a mom with Christ as the center of her life.  They need an example to follow and right now the example I am for them is not what I want it to be.  Please help me be accountable.

Since Byron is out of town and I've had all the babies to myself I really needed some time out.  I hired a sitter and went to dinner with my friend Cindy.  The steak and potatoes from Chili's was wonderful.  It was a treat yourself kind of night.  Cindy is a photographer too, so we talked shop all night.  There are a lot of new possibilities coming up.  Senior photos are going to be something we start to do more of.  That is exciting.  There's lots more to come with Peanut Grins!
