Butt Paste!!!! Aahhhhhh!

OK, so after Caleb's surgery yesterday we did get to come home which was nice, but the rest of the night was crazy. NONE of the boys were asleep before 9:30p. For Elijah that is very unusual. Caleb at first kicked me out of his room, but not long after he went to sleep he was up crying. Noah was up a bunch through the night with leg pains. He slept with me for a little bit but I had to leave because Caleb only wanted me. There was very little sleep happening in this house.
Today, my dad came to pick Noah up in the morning to take him to school. I didn't even feed Noah breakfast I just sent him with something to eat in the car. I really don't even think I gave him milk. Caleb needed me in the morning and Elijah slept in. It was nice that E was in bed until about 9:30a. He started to cry a bit and then he would be quiet, so I let him be. He then started really crying and I didn't want him to wait any longer for me to rescue him. Caleb had fallen asleep in the chair downstair at this time. That was the only good thing that happened today. I went to Elijah's room and when I opened the door he was very happy to see me. He looked SO cute because his hair was just everywhere and I laughed and said what have you been doing. Yes, I totally looked past all the butt paste that was all over his shirt, crib, changing table, crib toys, etc. All I saw at first was his cute smile and crazy hair. Then, I saw it. It was pretty cute, so I ran to get my camera. We had a photo session before bath time. He ended up getting upset by the time I was done.
I washed his hair 3 times and the butt paste did not come out. Then, it was time for him to eat. He was very fussy and I was guessing that it was because it was so late and he had not eaten. Boy was I wrong. I fed him a little and gave him some milk. While he was eating he pretty much exploded like a volcano. I've never seen so much come out of him and not that much had gone in him at that time. Then I looked harder and it was loads of butt paste. He was crying so I had to pull him out of his high chair and got his throw up on me. Back to another bath. No, the butt pasted still didn't come out of his hair all the way. Then I went to check what the container said about eating it. Not what I wanted to see.....seek medical attention or call poison. I called the peditrician who gave me the number to poison control. They were SO nice. Thank goodness it was not life threating since I did a photo shoot, bath and food before I called. Who knew he would have eaten it??! Barbara, from poison control, called later to check on E. He only threw up that one time. Before I got off the phone with Barbara when I first called she asked how big of a tube (of butt paste) did I have. I laughed and told her it was a tub. Later I saw that he pretty much scooped out handfuls of it. Half of the tub was gone!
He's doing good and so far everyone is asleep! I pray for a better night. I better take advantage of it and go to bed myself.

that is AWESOME! Parker did that with A&D when she was about a year but Butt Paste is WAY harder to get off of things so I don't envy you the clean up for that mess! Poor kid! What in the world could that have tasted like? :)
Oh myyyyyyy! He looks quite proud of himself! We've had it happen with Desitin and Triple Paste. Gracie not only painted herself, but some shoes too. Dawn dishsoap helps get it out, but obviously you have to be careful with his eyes.
Fun stuff!
