The $100 push!!!!! YES the ER AGAIN!!! {St. Louis Children's Photographer}

This weekend started off fun. I had a photo shoot with a sweet little one year old on Friday. Then I went to a movie with a friend. Saturday I had a photo break and took Noah and Caleb to Meet the Machines. What a beautiful day it was. The boys had a great time. Noah got to go to the Cardnials game. He had a big day. Byron and I had a date after that and then worked on our stuff. Sunday after church I had the chance to photograph a very cute 6 month old and family (including his very cute older brother). After that I photographed a couple of beautiful teenage girls. We had a blast and got some great images. My fun photo filled weekend took a turn for the worse when I got home this evening.
Noah was outside ALL day with Byron. Well, that was not good. I got home and Noah was about to head out again with his scooter (he ran in to get it right before I got home). I stopped him because his eyes did not look good. Sent him back in to get a bath. Well, by the time he was done with his bath and got dressed his eyeballs were swollen, YES EYEBALLS! This happened last year so I knew he would be alright, but it looked really bad. I called the exchange to see if we could give him another medication on top of the one he was already on. Right when I hung up Caleb gave E a push. He fell and hit his head on the corner of the wall. It's metal....not good! Split his head right open. He got 5 stiches. He was such a big boy! I do have pictures of that, but I need to work on some sneak peeks. I'll post some later.

The $100 peanut!!!! {St. Louis Children's Photographer}

So, today should have been very uneventful. The only things we had on our agenda were parent/teacher conference for Noah and Taekwondo for Noah. We left the house in time to be on time for the conference. Everything was going great. As we were getting on Olive I look in the mirror and see Caleb with his finger way up his nose. I told him not to do that and I'd throw back a tissue when I could. His eyes were watering and I asked what was wrong. He starts to cry and says, "Peanut up there." I said, "WHAT!!!" I pulled over in a parking lot as quick as I could. Jumped out of my car and got back to him so he could try and blow it out. He tried to blow it out and he was freaking out a bit. So was I to be honest. Anyway, I called the doctor to see what I should do and they send me straight to the ER. It took a while to get it out and they even mentioned the OR. Could you imagine have to surgically remove a peanut from your nose? Thankfully, that did not need to happen. They did have trouble getting it done. They tried with one tube but that was too big and could not pass the peanut. We had to take a break for them to go get a smaller tube and while that was happening Caleb had an accident on me! I did have a change of clothes for him, but not for me. Before they came in the second time and got it out Byron had to leave to go to the ball game. The ER people at St. John's ER were SO great! They took the other boys for treats and to see the fish. The fun did not stop there.
We got home and I put E in bed. Then, Noah, Caleb and I went outside to play. After a while out there Noah starts freaking out. His eyes are SO bad from allergies. I called the doctor to see if there was something I could do. He was already on Zertec and eye drops, but I was hoping for more. The only thing we could do is take him in, give him a bath and put a cold cloth on his eyes. He looked and felt SO bad. All was well by Taekwondo.

Just a peek for J, what a fun session

OK so today I did a session with J. My boys came with me because they are friends with J's little brother. OMG my little E is going to be the death of me. Let me back up and tell the story from my FL trip first (it goes along with this one). SO, Friday night (during our trip) was a rough night. I ended up 'sleeping' with E. Any mom knows that when your baby is in bed with you sleep doesn't really happen. Anyway, at 6am when he got up and wanted to stay up I asked Byron to get up with him so I could get a little sleep. I was already sick after all. Byron got up with him. I could not go back to sleep, but was laying there with the other 2 boys and listening. I heard the front door open and close. I was not real worried because Byron was with E, so I thought. Byron comes running out of the bathroom saying E left and he couldn't go get him. Yes, he was sick too. I jump out of bed and run to the door. E was out by the elevator with some man that works at the condo trying not to let him on the elevator. I ended up getting locked out of the condo collecting my baby. I was not real happy and sleep did not come after that. Well, it was a great start to my birthday. Later in the evening I was getting ready for dinner with just my sister-in-law. At one point we wondered where E was. I got freaked out and we all started running around the condo looking EVERYWHERE for my little man. He was GONE! Jonathan, Christine and Byron headed out to search for him. Now, my little boy loves to go on elevators and this place had elevators that would take him straight to the lobby (since he did not have a key to stop at any other floor). Now it would stop at another floor if someone else called it. Needless to say, I was thinking all kinds of things. I was left with the other 4 boys and was pretty crazy out of my mind. I did not stay calm and Noah also was crying pretty hard. My nephew was comforting me, he's 10. It was so sweet. Security saw him alone on the elevator and got him. He was safe. That was SO good. The only problem after that was we had the whole week left and NO WAY to keep him in the place. We ended up putting a bathroom rug in front of the door so when he tried to get out the door would get stuck. He did try to leave more too, but was not able.
Today, at the lovely Ms. J's house my 3 boys were in the play room. J and I were in the room just off the play room and I was getting my camera ready. All of a sudden J's eyes got real big and she said, 'How did he get out there?' I turn and see my little sweet E heading straight for the pool! We couldn't get out the door that was right by us because it was all locked up, so J ran through the play room and through the door E went out. He opened the back door and pushed an iron bench they had blocking the door out of the way to get out. HE'S CRAZY! She got him and the only thing that happened was he was a little wet. They have a great pool cover so he only got wet from the standing water that was on top of that. Freaked us out! That is what I'm dealing with people! Oh and another thing, once we got E in safe Caleb (who is at the beginning of potty training) has an accident and I had nothing to change him in to. Lesson learned there. Even though he was doing so well I should always be prepared.
After that we got J sister K out to watch the boys while we did some pics. It was a lot of fun.

STRESS!!!!!
I'm not feeling great and I have to have everyone packed and ready for FL by Thurs! It's late and I'm tired, as always these days. Noah starts Taekwondo tomorrow. I'm excited but it just puts more pressure to have everything ready to go by the time we go to class. Looking forward to the trip and the cousins are excited to play together. I'll try and post some pics from Noahs class. Until next time.
