Adventure to Build a Bear March 15 2009

Sunday on Caleb's actual birthday mommy and daddy each had their own special time with the birthday boy.  Daddy took Caleb to Whittles train store, they had lunch at the mall and they hung out and watched a movie.  Daddy's original plan was to go to the mall and have lunch then go to Build a Bear.  A dirty diaper and no supplies got in the way.  So, when I got home from my brother's house (where I had some yummy corn beef my sister-in-law made, thanks!) I asked if I could take Caleb to Build a Bear.  We talked about what he wanted to build and at first he said a frog, but when we got there he went with the puppy.  He had a great time making him, giving him a heart, bathing puppy, picking out his outfit and then making the birth certificate.  We named him Puppy McRuff in honor of St. Pat's day.  After we left the mall we stopped by Schnucks to him a cookie cake and Puppy McRuff came in with us.  He LOVES Puppy!  It was a fun time for me and my little 3 year old.
