Second Ohio sneak peek {St. Louis Children's Photographer}

I got to meet little T in Ohio.  He is such a cutie!!!!  What a sweet baby!  Really, T was a great baby and I'm glad I was able to spend some time with him.  He took a while to get to sleep, but we got him asleep for a little bit.  What a cute smile he has.  Enjoy!!

Ohio Session sneak peek! {St. Louis Children's Photographer}

How cool is the castle and how totally gorgeous is C?
Really, she's only 8!!!  I know I didn't look like this at that age!  She was SO fun to work with too.  She is going to be the 'Next Top Model'!

So good to be home!  It was a hard trip.  E didn't sleep at all!!!  Of course it's all about E!  He totally was a great traveler and I was glad to find out that I could drive 10 hours with Caleb and E by myself and not fall asleep.  E was up until 11pm every night EVEN if he did NOT nap!  I tried to drive him around to get him to fall asleep and it only worked one night.  The night it worked he would not transfer to the pack-n-play.  I now know I don't need to ever again travel with a pack-n-play.  He will not stay!  The new freedom he found with climbing out of beds has ruined him.  He slept on top of me all weekend.  If he was not on me he was flipping all around and almost fell off the bed several times a night.  Caleb was on the other side of me turning and twisting all night too.  I hope tonight Byron stays on his side of the bed and I don't have to catch him when he starts falling out of bed :)

The Grumpy Pepper! {St. Louis Senior Photographer}

How COOL is this?!  Yesterday my friend showed up at my door with this very grumpy pepper.  She wanted a picture before it went bad.  I did just about a full photo shoot for this guy.  SERIOUSLY, it's cool!!

So, we are on day two of no crib.  Going to bed is hard for him, but after a lot of tears he does settle down a bit.  LOVE that little guy!

Our morning went something like this.  E got up and came right out of his room with a big smile on his face since he can actually just leave now.  I took him downstairs until the other two got up.  E went back up to his room and climbed on the dresser and fell off.  He was so sad and Daddy just said that will teach him that he shouldn't do that.  I guess, but I really don't want him getting hurt.  We all went downstairs and I was unloading the dishwasher.  E came over and took something and ran off.  I didn't think much of it until everyone started crying.  E comes over to me bleeding and I see he is holding a sharp knife!!!!  WHAT THE HECK?!  We NEVER have sharp knives where the kids can get them!  I have all my knives up and hidden that people get upset when they come over and need a knife.  If I'm not home they usually don't know where to look.  If I let a knife go in the dishwasher it's in the top shelf basket way in the back not in the bottom where little hands can get them.  Well, E stuck the thing in his mouth and cut himself and he also took Caleb down with him.  Thanks to God that no body got hurt more than they did.  Caleb got a scrape down his arm.  He cried A LOT!!!!  We got that taken care of and E hurt himself a couple more times.  All this happened before 9am!  Later in the day Caleb cut his lip on a light saber, WHAT THE HECK?!  How you ask?!  I'd like to know too.  He lost his mind once again.

Anyway, I have to fix my hair and fold clothes before I can go to bed.  6:50am Noah is hitting the road and I'm going to try and get my oil changed at 7am before Byron goes to work.  OMGosh I have a lot to do before I go.  I have two sessions there and one is a newborn so I need to pack all my lights and stuff!  Oh well it will be fun.  Enjoy the pepper!

No more cribs :( {St. Louis Children's Photographer}

Today I go to put E down for his nap.  I was glad I would have some time to take a shower and get some stuff done.  Since I'll be heading out of town early Thursday I need to get clients there images, prepare for a talk I'm giving to some teenagers on Wednesday night with the Kirkwood Library, and get us ready for the trip.

This is the day E decided to climb out of his crib.  About 3 minutes after I put him down he opens the door and walks right out.  Oh, the new sweet freedom!  SO, I had to take a very quick shower leaving Noah to babysit (yeah, right!).  The hair would just have to look bad until I got his room in order.  That was my new priority.  I had to run to the store and get a night light (since I could no longer leave a lamp in the room, he'd break) and a door knob with a lock (turned with the it locking from the hall, not his room).  He can open the baby locks for the knobs, so that was out.

I brought the toddler bed up and changed the knob.  My plan was to leave the crib up until I had time to take it down.  E had other plans.  He climbed back into the bed, fell in I should say.  He landed on his face and flipped over to his back.  His neck wrenched back.  That freaked me out.  The bed had to come down right then.  It's in the basement now.  I had to take the changing table down and the pictures off the wall.  He is SUCH a climber!!!  I'm pretty sure all the Nemo stickers will be peeled off the wall, but we had a pretty good run with the crib with E.  The other two boys did not last as long in the crib, so I knew this day was coming but I wished it was not today.

Anyway, I did get my hair finished before I went to the Bobbi Brinkman workshop.  It was good!!  Bobbi is a great business woman and it was great of her to share the trade secrets with us.

15 MOB boys at my house!!! {St. Louis Children's Photographer}

14 of the 15 boys in the sandbox!  This was the best we could do with the group picture.  In the top you see just the back end of little W.  He totally HATED being in there.  He is in the picture below but my little Caleb is sitting right behind R who is up front, so you can't see him.  I got NO pictures of all three of my boys looking :(  Not too suprising.  Anyway, what do you all expect with 15 boys?!  :)

All these boys come from just 5 moms!  In case you were wondering what the MOB is it's Mother's of Boys.  Yes, we all have ONLY boys in our homes!  Most of the time just the moms meet for dinner and talk about the crazy boy issues we have and get to have some much needed girl time.  I wanted to get all the boys together and have our first MOB play date.  It was GREAT!  All the boys got along and there were no fights, just fun!  I will totally have them all back soon.  Noah LOVED having everyone to our house to play.  We have a very small back yard, but it has all the essentials for a good boy backyard.  A BIG sandbox (8 boys were in there playing nicely before we decided to put them all in it for a picture), something to climb/swing/slide on and a lot of concrete to ride on.  We had to put up the riding stuff for fear the littler ones would get mowed down, so we got the chalk out for quite play.  Thanks to Jen for the bubbles and Jen and Julie for feeding my boys :)  I'll be in touch for the next play date.  If anyone is reading this that has only boys and wants to be included, drop me an e-mail and I'll let you know the next dates for dinner and play time.  Have a great day!!

More twin peeks I promised to show! {St. Louis Children's Photography}

OK, so that is it for sneak peeks of these cuties!  I'm wrapping up their session and hope to have it out by the end of the week!

Man, I'm tired.  Night before last I was up until 2am working on my sessions and last night I was up until 1am with the NILMDTS session.  I plan on heading to bed early tonight, but I have to also catch up on my homework.  By the way, I totally LOVE my online PS class.  It is FANTASTIC!  I just get behind on my homework and need to catch up.  It's going well and I'm learning a ton!

This is for you, Aunt Sherri  :)  You made the blog!!!

My Aunt Sherri ordered these 4 flower prints from me.  She wasted no time hanging them up and sending me this picture.  I Love it and can't wait to see what they look like in person!  I'll be heading to Ohio in a couple of weeks and will see them then, I hope!

Sneak peeks for J & E {St. Louis Children's Photographer}

Yesterday I had the pleasure of meeting J and E at the park.  It was the PERFECT day for pictures at the park.  I was a little worried about how wet things might be, but by the time we met up things could not be better.  I had a great time with them and I think they had some fun too.  Thanks for a fun day!

Happy 4th of July!

This was taken before I got them into their 4th of July shirts, but it was too cute to leave out.

There's those beautiful eyes!

Ya gotta love those boots!  They wear them any time they are not wearing their crocs.

Happy 4th of July, or as my mom told someone today 'Happy New Year!'.  It was pretty funny.  I'll post block party pictures tomorrow.  I should be asleep, but my best friend from K through 12 found me on FB and I chatted with her for quite some time.  It was great catching up and I hope we reconnect more.

Little E was not feeling good, so I could not get pics of him.  He's SO sweet.

My parents block party was today and the boys had a blast.  They always have a parade and the boys were in it.  Pictures to be posted tomorrow.  Have a great day tomorrow!
