The Big Reveal is here! {St. Louis Children's Photographer}

Once the shades went on he would not take them off for a very long time.

Seriously, CUTE and cool!!

SO proud!  He's not even looking while he's riding.

OK so I totally screwed up the before pics, because I dyed the curtains from yellow to navy before I took the before pics.  Anyway, picture the curtains yellow.

I love how clean his room is and how it looks.  This is his big boy heading to Kindergarden room.  The only thing not up in these pics are the balls on the orange wall.  It still needs to dry a little more.

These are the befores of the bathroom.  It was purple and I really liked it.

Now the color is Raise-n-Shine (yellow) and I totally LOVE it!!!

The big reveal is here!!!  I've worked SO hard getting the house spruced up.  Painted and made over one bathroom and Noah's room.  I also cleaned walls, doors and floors.  Things are looking pretty darn good around here.

My niece is turning 3, so we did some pictures.  We also did a family picture including the dog.  Buckley decided he needed blue hair, so he had that done before I arrived.  :)  Cute pics and fun party for A.

I was going to be out of town this weekend, but things changed and I've been here two boys short and working on the house.  It's been great.  I've neglected the business, but the house looks fantastic!  I did edit two jobs and will have three done before I get off the computer tonight.  Tomorrow I'll be working on packaging so I can deliver this week.

Playing catch up on things I have not blogged about.  June 22 Noah learned how to ride his bike without training wheels!  He was SO proud.  I can't believe he's getting so old.  He really didn't need someone to teach him.  Ooma took off the training wheels and lowered the seat and off he went.  I really think him riding his scooter helps a lot!  He has great balance.

E had pink eye, so back to the doctor we went.  He's also on the forth day (24 hours a day) of wearing Caleb's hand me down crocs.  He LOVES them.  I can't even take them off for diaper changes, bath time or swim lessons.  It's pretty darn cute.

And last but not least a cute Caleb story.  He was heading out of town with daddy and Noah.  He's the momma's boy so I was worried he would not do well.  So, I was asking him if he would be OK going out of town without me.  I said, "Honey, you know mommy is not going out of town, right?"  And he answered, "Mommy's not going and Wijah (Elijah) is not going."  "Yes, are you going to be OK?" I asked again.  I refraised it several times and finally he looks at me and says, "Mommy, are you going to be OK?  Do you want me to stay home?"  Is that the sweetest thing or what?!  He's SO stinking sweet.  I think he was thinking that I must be asking SO many times for a reason.

House Manager! {St. Louis Wedding Photographer}

House Manager is the title Byron gave me and today I really did my job.  I called the fence people and set the appointment to get our fence fixed.  I also cancelled a service plan and had to 'fight' to get them to cancel it and get the right refund.  Went to Bed Bath and Beyond to get Noah soem new curtain rods.  I ran out of time or they would be up.  I'll do that tomorrow.  Painted the bathroom ceiling (there will be pictures when the room is finished).  But the biggest thing for the house I did today is...........drum roll please...........I replaced our upstairs toilet!  We've had such problems with that toilet and I was very sick of it, so I went to Lowe's to get the paint for the bathroom and picked up a toilet while I was there.  I've been scared to attempt doing this on my own, but I read some directions at Lowe's and talked to one of the employees and that did it.  It is pretty easy.  I did need Byron to carry the new one in and old one out.  He also helped me set it but that was it.  So it's up working and no leaks so far!  Pray we don't wake up underwater.  Anyway, I plan to get a lot done this week and weekend.  Lots to do tomorrow so I've got to sleep now.

WOW! Busy day! {St. Louis Children's Photographer}

Today was a long but fun day.  I shot a wedding in the morning with fabulous photographer Sherry Rosenberger and in the afternoon I had fun with a newborn.  Weddings are a lot of fun, but nothing beats a newborn.  While you usually don't get peed on at a wedding and there is a good chance of something getting on you at a newborn session (I got totally soaked by B today), I pick newborns.  So far B wins the prize on soaking me the most.  Good thing he's so darn cute!  What a great little baby.  It was a great session.  Enjoy the pictures!

I was gone most of the day today.  When I talked to my husband between running around he informed me that E stuck his head in the toilet.  That cracks me up AND totally grosses me out at the same time.  He LOVES the water and any time he is around water his face goes in and he blows bubbles.  The sickest thing to date is the water on the sandbox cover that sits around way too long and the water in the picnic table that also sits around way too much!  It really didn't suprise me to hear that, but did make me a little sick.  He is a character, to say the least.

Big day tomorrow and a lot done today! {St. Louis Children's Photographer}

Could you just die?!  What a sweet smile!

What a heavy stool.
Here little D is praising the Lord!

So, today I completed 5 sessions and all that is left is to order some prints and package them up!  Yeah!!!  Tomorrow I have a wedding and a newborn session!  Sounds a little on the crazy side, but the wedding will be finished at 3pm and this little baby needs his picture taken.  There you have it, got to get it done.  I can't wait for the newborn session.

Today was a pretty fun day.  I took the boys to tot time this morning with a good friend.  They all had a blast.  We came back here for lunch and more play time.  E took a nap.  Noah and Caleb went to visit with Pop while E and I went to the store.  Byron grilled burgers (very good burgers) and corn for dinner.  All boys got baths.  I finished sessions and took a shower.  Now I'm watching a movie, working on pictures and blogging.  Gotta get to bed soon so I can function tomorrow.  It's raining pretty hard right now.  I hope tomorrow is a better day.  I need to work on my homework for a continuing ed class.  I've only had two classes and I'm already behind.  Oh well, I'll get it done.

Enjoy the images of a very cute baby.  I photographed D almost a year ago and he is SO very cute.

YEAH!!!! Finished up the wedding! {St. Louis Wedding Photographer}

SO, I totally finished up the wedding from LESS than a week ago!!!  I do have a few sessions that I really need to wrap up, but at least the wedding is done and that is HUGE!!!  I finished up editing another session from last week.  A very sweet family.  My computer is VERY fast!!!

The boys had a dentist appointment today.  Caleb had his first and he did a great job!  Both big boys got a good report.  Little E will have to wait for his first appointment, but I'm sure he will pass with flying colors because he totally reminds me to brush his teeth.  He LOVES to brush!

After our 8am appointment we went to the zoo and played in the new 'discovery' room.  Not sure of the real name, but the boys had a great time and we stayed inside!!!  Super hot day!  On the way to the car we saw a mama peacock with two babies.  Did you know that the baby boys can fan their feathers too?!  It was the cutest thing EVER!  The bad thing is I did not have my camera with me.  It's hard to believe, but in the rush to make it to the room by 10am I forgot it.  I was really bummed because the boys looked really cute dressing up in safari hats and vests and then we saw the cute tiny peacocks.  Well, lesson learned!  Gotta get some sleep.  Take care.

7 years! {St. Louis Wedding Photographer}

Well, today is our 7 year anniversary!  We had a fun weekend.  Saturday I had no jobs other than Serve Our City with our church.  Every year we (as a church) do different things around the city to help our 'neighbors'.  Be the hands and feet of Christ.  It was great!  Then we had a sitter come early so we could go to dinner.  We ate at The Cheese Cake Factory, went to a movie and then to Borders Book Store.  It was a great day.  Sunday was pretty good too.  First church then to my parents for lunch and to let the boys play with their cousins.  They had a blast.  As a suprise, my parents let us go to a movie.  Then we brought the boys home, put them to bed and got Chili's for a late dinner.

Tomorrow the boys have swim lessons.  I should be getting my computer delivered and once I get my student ID I'm going to get Byron a computer and IPod.  We are very excited about our new computers.  I hope to be able to process my images even faster.  YEAH!!

The images are from a session I had last week.  Hope you enjoy them A!  You have a fantastic family!
