The New Stingrays - St. Louis Zoo {St. Louis Children's Photographer}

Two of Ang's kids petting the stingray.

My boys splashing in the stingray pool.  One had just swam by you can see the tail end of it.

Here's two of our attempts.  We didn't get any of the 6 boys and 2 girls all looking at the camera.

OK, so today I got to FINALLY see and pet the stingrays!!!!!  I had two other failed attempts at seeing them.  Once we were going to go and got there to find every school in MO came to the zoo on a field trip.  We didn't even park the car.  Well, we couldn't the lot was full anyway.  The next time I tried to just take Noah and Caleb.  They both fell asleep on the way there and then Ooma called to see if Noah could come over for a couple of hours.  I knew if Noah missed that he would be upset, so I turned the car around and went home.  Well, today my good friend Angie and I went.  There were a lot of buses there already, but there were also parking spots in the lot.  We went!  The first thing we did was hit the stingrays.  It was great!  If you are a member the cost is pretty low.  They want you to limit your time in there to 15 minutes.  It was OK though.

We attempted a couple group pictures.  They are not the best, but that was pretty much the day.  Crazy and fun.

Lights, Camera, Shoot!!!! {St. Louis Children's Photographer}

An exciting day!  I made room in the basement and FINALLY put up the softbox my friend, Oscar, sent me.  My good friend and fantastic photographer herself, Kim Weiss, came over and helped me.  It was fun!  So, Noah wanted to be the first subject.  I couldn't convince him to change, so here it is.  I photographed them all just as they were.  E has pizza stains and ripped off stickers on him.  Caleb was photographed after his bath, so at least he was clean.  He did cut his eye at dinner time, so there's that.  But that explains the PJ's.  These pics are SO my boys!  I love them!

I finished another session tonight, but now I have to finish laundry.  We have a trip to the zoo planned tomorrow.  Pray for no rain and a nice fun day with Ang.

Even more done today!!! {St. Louis Children's Photographer}

Ooma wanted a nice picture with each of her grand children.  So, on mother's day she got her hair done and we did it.  Above is my troop and below is my brother's.  It went surprisingly well.

Ooma is laughing because Caleb is trying to get in the picture.  It was cute.

Love how Caleb is sneaking in the picture!

Well, I completed two jobs today and am editing another.  Can't wait to be caught up.  I also ordered more pics for my house and should get them tomorrow.  That will be cool!  I'm about to fall asleep, but I wanted to post a few of the cake smash (and I use that term lightly).  W was very gentle with his first cake.  He even pushed it away!  Are those eye's crazy pretty or what?!  I LOVE photographing W for that very reason.  And he's totally cute if you have not noticed :)

SO much done today! {St. Louis Children's Photographer}

WOW, what a day!  Byron and I got so much done today.  I REALLY want to get my new light up and running, so the basement was our job today.  It was perfect that it rained all day.  We would have wanted to be out playing around if it were a nice day.  The boys played really well together so that helped a lot!  We had a pull out love seat that weighed a TON in the basement that I wanted out.  I was going to put it on craigslist in the free section, but we built the basement around the thing and couldn't get it out.  All of a sudden Byron was taking an ax to that thing.  Needless to say it will be out for trash pickup this week.  :)  We also moved a big dresser up to E's room.  His room looks great and it's just about ready for him to move to a big boy bed.  All except for the fact that he loves to climb on his dresser and play with the light.  Not sure what we will do about a night light when the time comes.  We'll work it out.

We also went to a movie while my parents watched the boys.  If that was not enough they took the two big ones for another 2 hours after we got home from the movies.  We took that opportunity to go to dinner and Wal-mart.  When the boys got home we got ready for bed and all were asleep by 8pm.  Byron went out and I ate ice cream watched 2 movies and worked.  I'm almost finished with my senior sessions.  Then I only have one more to finish up!  I'd love to be caught up before next weekend.

No pics today!  Sorry.

Down in the dumps, today! {St. Louis Children's Photographer}

OMG it is such a beautiful day and I should be on cloud 9, but I'm not.  Thinking of quiting NILMDTS and even the business.  I REALLY love photography, so I'm not sure why I'm having these thought.  Just a bad day I guess.  YUCK, hating these feelings.

Anyway, here's some pics of my sweet Caleb and one of the three boys together.  I was so excited that Caleb wore a collar shirt and Noah picked his out all by himself.  I stuck one on E and we had a photo session.  Caleb has more just because he NEVER wears shirts like that.  He's too cute.  Note the collar, he had to have it buttoned all the way up.  That is my friends/neighbors door - gotta love it!  I see many sessions happening on her steps, in front of that door and on her bench (which is where the boys are).  Thanks, Julie!   :)

Sorry about the funk, it won't happen again.  I hope :)

Finally!!!! {St. Louis Senior Photographer}

OK, so here's some from the session of A's brother M.  This was a lot of fun.  It's hard to get guys into a photo session, but M was great!  He was willing to do anything, even 52,000 jumps (maybe not that many, but a lot)!  It was a fun day.

What a great day! {St. Louis Children's Photographer}

I'm not sure which of these two sets I like the best.  We could also totally switch things up and use different flowers.

It's such a pretty day I thought I'd work on a project for my Aunt Sherri, flowers!  So, I put the 3 flowers you already picked together with two I like with them.  Then I took more photographs in the yard and those are included in the post too.  Let me know what you think.

This morning Noah had tee ball.  He played a great game.  Everytime he was at bat he would hit the ball first time.  I didn't get much of a chance to get photos of him hitting because of that.  Guess that's a good thing though.  He fielded about 3 balls and threw them right to first (which is what they are suppose to do).  Caleb and Ooma came to the game, but Caleb only made it through half the game.

In about an hour I leave to go with a photog friend on a shoot.  I'm looking forward to that and will post some images later.  Have a great weekend, it's beautiful out!  :)

The big sleep study! {St. Louis Children's Photographer}

Noah watching a little Scooby Doo with Batman & Robin before the big hook up.

It's getting late, Noah is getting very tired, but he's doing well.  They put the nose tubes in last and I couldn't take more pics of that because he wanted to pull everything off at that point.  He did a great job except he didn't SNORE or grind his teeth.  It drove me crazy.  I was joking before the study that they would say Noah did well, but they thought I needed a sleep study.  When they came in to unhook Noah in the morning the guy asked me if I slept at all.  I laughed and said a little.  I have terrible sleep habits.  I can't even say how often I wake up at night.  It was worse because I was worried about Noah and anytime he moved I would wake up.  We'll see what happens with the results.  I was told a week to 10 days.  I'll let you know how it goes.

I took him to Build a Bear the next day for being so good and not pulling everything off.  I really don't want to do another study, so I hope they take his HUGE tonsils.

I got to go see my nephew play t-ball Wednesday night.  He did a great job!  It was nice to see him and my nieces.  My poor brother didn't have gas and my sister in law was not home, so I helped get the kids baths.  Well, we washed the hair of A with super cold water.  I told her we were going to play beauty shop so she let me, but really hated it after the cold water hit her head.  P did not fall for the game, so she didn't get a bath or hair washing.  And T was on the dusty ball field, so I thought he really needed a real bath.  I heated water on the stove and put that in the tub with some cold.  He got a real shallow warm bath.  There was dirt in the tub, so I'm glad we were able to do that bath.  The gas company got to his house late that night.  I'm pretty sure my brother got a warm shower the next morning.
When I got home I made Tyler his very own baseball cards.  They turned out great.  I used the above image for the front.  I wish I would have had my good camera, but my little one did a pretty good job.  Wow!  It's almost 1am.  Gotta get some sleep.  Later!  Glad it's almost Friday!!!!

The big night!!! {St. Louis Children's Photographer}

So, tonight I get to sleep in the hospital with Noah.  He has a sleep study tonight.  I guess the one good thing about it is I will go to sleep early.  Here's some images from the weekend.  Enjoy!  And no he's not the college man.  :)
