The big competition print!! {St. Louis Children's Photographer}

This is my print competition image!  I love it!  My good friend, Oscar, helped me with it and it turned out GREAT!!  Poor Oscar had to stay up later because of me just to get his own print ready.  Sorry about that :)  I named it ' "You're beautiful" "No, you're beautiful" '  That didn't work, with some help (a lot of help) it's now named "Reflection"

These are a few images from today's shoot.  I am really enjoying this workshop.  I do miss all my boys (big and small ;)  )  I also miss sleep.

WOW what a day!! {St. Louis Children's Photographer}

Today was amazing!  I've been learning so much my head may explode.  We had a chance to go to a class this morning on seniors.  It seems like a life time ago at this time.  Then we had some lunch and ditched the next session so we could check out models and shoot in the big conf. room with several shooting bays to choose from.  We also took a few of out models outside.  Then we had to have a very quick dinner and head out for the sunset shoot.  That was amazing!  Photos all day long.  I have to be up again for the sunrise shoot in less than 5 hours.  I'm going to need a weeks worth of sleep when I get home, but it's worth it.  I've been hangin' with a couple of wonderful people Oscar and Alison.  We've been having a lot of fun together.  Tonight we worked on photoshop some together.  I'm sure I got the most out of that, thanks guys!

The first day at Light Pro Expo-AHHH Florida

Love this image.

Possible image for you, Aunt Sherri!

Another possible flower pic for Aunt Sherri!
Not sure why, but I love this image.

Hotel grounds
The beautiful hotel grounds!

Here's my room!  It's SO nice!  The max price on this room is $750!!!  That's crazy to me.  It's nice, but it's not half the mortgage nice.  Anyway, it's been pretty nice here so far.  I'm SO tired and it's going to be a long week.  Sunrise shoots start at 6:45am and then there is a sunset shoot and after hours stuff too.  Not planning on sleeping this trip.  OH, and I lied about not blogging.  I have free internet in my room!  So cool!  Hope you enjoy the photos!

Light Pro Expo here I come! {St. Louis Children's Photographer}

Well, I'm off to FL tomorrow!  Checked the weather and it's going to be beautifully rainy, boo!  Monday is the only day that does not show thunder storms.  How will the sunset on the beach sessions go, you ask?  Good question.  I wonder if Larson planned it this way, so we are inside with lights the whole time :)  Anyway, I'm a bit nervous, but excited too.  I'll miss my babies a whole bunch and Thursday won't come soon enough.  So, no blogs until after I get back, but I will be in contact by e-mail if you want to shoot me an e-mail that would be great!  Until later, have a great and snowy week!

I can breath easier now!!! {St. Louis Children's Photographer}

It's great!  I'm getting things wrapped up.  I've been very stressed and staying up too late these days.  Tonight our taxes are completed and have been filed.    Huge relief!  Also, A BIG THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU to all my friends who stepped up to the plate for me.  I leave Sunday for FL (Light Pro Expo) and needed to find people to cover my daily duties with the boys for 4 days.  I was not sure that I could pull it off, but I've got the most fantastic, supporting group of friends.  Grandma Cathy is watching the boys every morning, then we have Jen C, Cindy N and Aunt Liz.  It's a lot of work.  Not counting Grandma Cathy, the others each have 2 kids they are bringing over too.  They will be taking care of all 5 until Byron gets home and takes over.  I think I've even got a way to get Noah back and forth to school, thanks to Angie A and Cindy N (she doesn't know it yet :)  ).  We'll see about that though.

Anyway, I've got to sleep.  My back has been killing me lately.  I've been on crutches daily.  Lots of prayers needed that it gets better for my trip.  I've included more images from the weekend with our beautiful models.  Big THANK YOU to Kim for these beauty's.

Just a couple fun ones! {St. Louis Children's Photographer}

I LOVE THIS IMAGE!!!  What fun!  Click on the image to see it larger.

I'm playing with non-standard image sizes and I LOVE them!

It's far too late.  I just got done REDOING my taxes.  I went on turbo tax to finish up and found they were just GONE!  What the heck happened, I have NO clue.  So, I've been doing that instead of my pics for hours now and it's late.

On a side note, the neurologist cleared Noah with just migraines.  I don't want him to have those, but that's better than something else.

Outside boy fun! {St. Louis Children's Photographer}

This was taken with my little camera by me and I LOVE it!  I wish I did it with my nice camera so the quality would be better, but it's still cute.  Look at my little man, he posed for me with a nice smile.  No CHEEEEESE face.

This just cracked me up.  Elijah took my purse and ran around the backyard saying, "Bye, bye, bye...."   He looked SO cute.

The rain pooled in the sandbox cover.  I turned my back for a second and they were both in the water playing around.  E kept bending over and drinking the water, yuck!
They had a great time splashing around in the water.  They were soaked!

Elijah fell in the dirt and sand so I took his shirt off him.  I fully planned on taking him in and getting him cleaned up, but he had other plans.  He took off and I grabed my camera.  I LOVE this shot of him 'grilling' without his shirt on and a dirty face.

The Butterfly House & Faust Park {St. Louis Children's Photographer}

Today I got to spend some time with A at Faust Park.  I've been photographing her since she was in mommy's belly.  She is a doll.  We had a tough time getting some smiles, but we finally did at the very end of the session.  Enjoy, I need sleep.
