Still in pain {St. Louis Children's Photographer}

Well, surgery was this past Thursday and things did not go as I planned.  The surgery went fine although I was sick after, so they decided I was not going to leave the hospital until Friday.  I SO did NOT plan on that.  I brought nothing with me and didn't really say good-bye to the boys.  Byron stayed with me until about 7pm and went home to let my parents leave and get some rest.  I was not quite ready to be alone for the night so I had Byron send my parents up.  They got there and 5 minutes later I was throwing up my dinner.  YUCK!!  My dad was so sweet to me.  He wiped my mouth and took care of the bucket.  He even offered to spend the night in a really uncomfortable chair.  He's a one of a kind dad!

My friends have been incredible too, thank you!  I've had dinners brought over and a couple of my friends spent many hours looking after my boys along with their own children.  This is a hard surgery to recover from, at least for me with all my boys counting on me.  I could not have done it without the help of my friends.   You all are the BEST!!!

I got some beautiful flowers from my uncle and aunt.  Thank you SO much!  I took some photos of the flowers, but I'm having a problem with my program so I can't post them right now.  We are taking the computer in to have it looked at tomorrow.  I'm very worried about all my photos.  Sometimes I hate computers.

I'm also looking forward to posting our new swing set.  My parents bought it for the boys and they LOVE it!!

I need to rest now.  I'll get back to this once my computer is fixed.  Good night for now.

Our last baby, E! So much fun!!

He has to taste EVERYTHING, even the window!

So, today Pop came and picked up the older boys and gave me some one on one time with E.  It was great!  We had so much fun together and I had to capture some of him on 'film'.  I've been having the blues about not having any more babies, so I want to bottle up his baby-ness via photos.  Anyway, it's been hard, but on the up side Byron was talking about going to Disney next year and that is something to look forward to.  To the next chapter in our lives.  I'll post some images from the newborn session tomorrow.  I've got to sleep!

Gall Bladder Attack!!!

OH MY GOSH!!!!  A week ago last Saturday I had my first gall bladder attack and it hurt.  Well, Monday I got word from the doctor that my gall bladder was nearly filled with stones.  He will be taking it out Thurday, Feb. 26.  Who knew?!  I've been having some small problems since then, but tonight was another pretty big one.  Not like the first thank goodness, but still pretty painful.  I'll be glad when Thursday comes and I'm on the mend.  It makes me nervous to go through the surgery though.

Other things going on.  I'm starting to come to grips with the fack that we are not having any more babies, so I'm getting rid of a ton of things.  It's bitter sweet.  I'm glad to be getting the house emptied out some, but sad that that chapter is closing.  Looking forward to the next.

Sorry, I have no pictures to post.  I will after Saturday.  I get to photography a newborn!!!  I'm very excited.  I love newborn sessions.

I've been off the computer a lot lately and I'm leaving again now.  I just need a break!

Hermann Missouri

We did the Sunday trip to QT after church.  That's one big long john Caleb got.

Well we took a trip to Hermann this past Sunday.  It was great.  I found an old baby scale at one of the shops and bought that for my photography.  I can't wait to have some newborns to shoot with it, hint hint :)  We had a nice lunch and the food was good.  We walked over a couple of bridges.  The boys had a good time.  Well, we all did!

Trying to catch up

Can't wait until Spring.  Today was so beautiful!

I just printed this as a 20x30.  It's hanging above my bed and I LOVE it!!

Caleb did not want to be in this picture.

It's going down...
Caleb looks sad
Noah now realizes the snowman came down.  Check out his face.

Well, I'll have to post weekend pictures later.  For now you get snow and other stuff.

This past Saturday I had something scary happen.  I was putting Caleb to bed and then all of a sudden I felt a crushing feeling that went through to my back.  I left his room and started to sweat  and the pain turned sharp.  Then, I couldn't breath.  Byron called my parents to come over to watch the boys while we went to the hospital.  My mom got there and called 911.  I was a mess.  Noah and Caleb loved watching the action.  The pain went away by the time they got there, but they did an ekg and told me to go to the hospital anyway.  While he was doing the ekg Noah chimes in from the steps, "Mommy, I think it's just crabs."  Out of the mouths of babes.  :)  It was funny and I started laughing.  We left for the hospital about 8 and were home by 1am.  I can't believe how long it took.  I have gall stones and have to go to a GI doctor on Monday to see what I need to do next.

I blame the weekend on Byron since he said earlier that day that we had not been to the hospital or urgent care in a couple of months.

Beautiful day

Today we had a snow ball fight and didn't even need our winter coats.  Then the boys built a snowman and it fell over as I was taking pictures of Noah and Caleb with it.  I'll post those later.

This pic is for you Kim :)  I really like this one.  I'm still not done yet!
