My 20 year reunion is over :(

At the Bread Company before the reunion.

Byron took this of me before I left home.  This is the outfit that took 5 hours to put together.  Yeah, I was smokin' hot :)

The above and below photo have all North Glendale people in it.  North Glendale was the greatest :)  (that's for you Charlie)

I have not talked to David (right) since highschool.  It was SO good to catch up with him.  Funny story about David.  Back in 8th grade we 'went together' at a football game for about 20 minutes.  I'm sure it was the best 20 minutes of his junior high years :)  He was the only guy I 'went with'.  It was great catching up and talking about old times.

The one not looking at the camera is the drunk!  I didn't post her face, but she knows who she is and so does everyone else at the reunion.

What a weekend starting Wednesday night.  Wednesday was the chili bowl, pep rally and bon fire.  After that my friend, Kathy, and I went to Duffys.  Boy did I feel old.  We got home late and I was up even later.

Thanksgiving was nice in the morning.  I got up for the Turkey Day Trot (a 3 mile run in Kirkwood).  We had lunch at my parents house.  My mom bought a wii for the boys to play while they are over.  Once we went home I put the little ones down and Byron took Noah to a movie.  While they were gone I got a call from my Aunt.  My Uncle was in a bad motorcycle accident.  He had a collapsed lung and 12 breaks in 7 of his ribs.  They put him in a coma because of all the pain.  That was pretty scary!  Things are looking OK right now.  He'll be in the hospital another 2 or 3 days.  I talked to him today and he's in a lot of pain.

Friday started early with the boys, but I left the house at 10am to pick up a friend and go shopping.  We had to find outfits for the big reunion.  We shopped and had lunch for FIVE hours!  I don't even like to shop, but we had a great time and found me a great outfit.  At about 5:30 I went to pick up Kristen to go get a small bite to eat before heading to the reunion.  We ate and looked at the old yearbook.  It was a lot of fun.  Angie and Charlie came to pick us up and we headed out.  The reunion went from 7 to 1am.  We stayed for the whole thing.  It was great!  I got to see a lot of people that I really was happy to see and catch up with.  There was a group there that I glad I didn't talk to or catch up with, because frankly I don't care to know about their lives.  They were mean back then and did not seem to change over the years.  They still think they are very cool.  Funny thing is they are only cool in their own minds, because I saw NOTHING cool about them.  Some of them aged really bad!  At the end of the night I almost got beat up by the only drunk there.  She did not like her picture taken and got in my face about it.  She was WAY TOO TRASHED to really do anything.  It was kind of funny.

Today we toured the high school.  It was crazy!  That place is SO nice.  I guess we should stay in the Kirkwood area and give our kids the best education with the best technology.

I'm starting to feel a little sick so I need to get to bed!

We're back!

I need to post some images from the trip because I took a few of Byron and his 93 year old grandpa working on the car.  It was so cute.

The car ride home was a treat.  Elijah sounds terrible.  He's got the worst cough and couldn't sleep because he kept coughing.  Noah and Caleb don't sleep well in the car or for very long, so they were out of their minds toward the end of the 16 hour car ride.  Noah and Caleb fell asleep around 11:00p and before midnight Noah woke up asking me how long he needs to be in his wet pants.  Oh my, he had an accident in the car seat.  I had to crawl to the back and lean over the seat to dig new clothes out of the suitcase.  He was so cute and has the same outlook as Byron on things.  I get all crazy (but I didn't this time) and Noah says to me, "I guess now we know that I need a pull up at night night time in the car too."  He was so sweet.  We got him changed and all was good.  That happened right after Elijah would not stop crying and when he finally did, Caleb started up.  It was like they were passing the crying baton.  We got in at 12:30am and the boys were in bed by 1am.  They did NOT sleep in today either.  I've always told my parents not to keep the boys up late, because they will not sleep in.  If this was not proof of that I don't know what is.

Anyway, I've got to go to bed.

Meet Cindy!!!!

This is my friend Cindy.  I did her headshots yesterday.  She is just starting a company called Remodel With Design.  She and her husband, Chris have this company together.  Cindy does staging.  So if you plan on selling your house, Cindy would come in and make it look fantastic.  Chris will do custom remodeling.  I forgot to mention, they've been remodeling for years, the staging is the new part.  I've seen their work and it's great!  Their website is www.remodelwithdesign.com.  Check them out!

The FIRST Haircuts!!!!

All three of my boys got their first professional haircuts today!  They all look SO cute with their big boy hair.

E just needed a little trim up.  He was beginning to grow a tail.  He's so sweet and even though he was tired he did a great job.  Very little was cut, but he sure does look handsome.  It was hard for me because he's my last baby and he's already getting a haircut.  :(

Caleb before his haircut!

Caleb being a big boy getting his haircut for the first time.

Noah during the cut.  He did a great job sitting still!
This picture is not the greatest of Noah, but it's the only 'after' photo I have.  He's eating the treat he got for being SO good!  He looks so handsome.

Thank you, Cindy!

We leave Friday for NC so I'll be out and not by a computer for a little bit.  I'll come back with photos :)

Fun jam packed weekend

I can't resist this sweet little boy.  He LOVES his bath time and had SO much fun.  I think I took these Wed or Thurs, but I had to share on this post.

Friday we found out that Byron's brother has malignant melanoma.  It's the worst kind of skin cancer, so we are pretty freaked out.  Tuesday he will have surgery to get it removed.  Once they do that we have to wait a week to see if they got it all or if it has spread.  Anyway, my parents watched the boys for us so we could go out to dinner and process this information.  Please pray for him and the outcome of this.  It's fatal if it has spread.  Byron has lost his parents already, we can't lose his brother any time soon.

Saturday we went to a construction birthday party.  It was too cute.  My friend did such a great job with the whole party.  The cake was totally cute, and she made it!  She made them all hats and aprons with tools in them and their names and pictures of tools on them.  All their hats had their names on them.  She really knows how to throw a party.

The birthday boy!
Very cool cake!

Byron and I went out Saturday evening to a movie.  It was great to get out.  The movie was good, James Bond.  Then we went to Target to get a few things with out the boys in tow.

This morning I went into Elijah's room and found him like this.
I have NO clue what he had been doing in there, but it cracked me up.  He was so very happy to see me and it didn't seem to bother him that his shirt was like that.  He's SO crazy!  Love Calebs bed head.
This is how he looked when I went it, Caleb had not been in there with him.  He saw the camera and kept saying 'CHEEEEESE'.

After church we headed out to find this place, Fort Davidson.

Byron and Elijah walking around the fort.

After Fort Davidson we went to Elephant Rocks and let the boys climb around.  It was fun.  We got home late and put Caleb and Elijah right in bed (after dinner and baths).

Noah and Byron went to the book store once the other two were in bed and bought a couple books.  Noah was so excited about his new books.  He didn't go to bed until 10pm.  I hope tomorrow goes well and Noah's not too tired.  Well, I want to be asleep before 12, so I've got to go.  Good night!

E in his man jammies and other things, like the beautiful sky

This is Noah's new bed!!!  He LOVES it and is SO excited to have it!  Thanks to A & L for the bed and K, S and B for the delivery!!!  This made his day!  Even Elijah goes up the ladder and down the slide.  He thinks he's pretty cool playing with his big brothers.

If you missed the sky this evening, here it is.  I wish my house over looked the ocean or mountains or anything prettier than the wires.  The problem is we live in Missouri!

Both of these pics with Elijah in his man jammies!  And yes he is saying CHEEEESE!!!

Elijah like to get up on the piano bench and play.  It's so cute.  I thought the boys helped him up, but he did it all by himself.  He's just like his Daddy.

Proud big sis!

I had to post Elijah in his man jammies.  They are too cute!  I don't remember who gave them to us, but thank you very much, I LOVE THEM!

I also thought I'd post a few images from my recent newborn session.  They were so cute.  I have not even been through them all yet.  Sorry it's taking a little while to edit these.  I'm going ot bed now too, so I will not be doing any more tonight.

Don't be too suprised about this.....I'll be heading to Urgent Care tomorrow.  I've got a mysterious rash that is itching like crazy!  I can't stand it.  We'll see what they say.  I hope it helps.

Tomorrow is also MOPS day.  We are all looking forward to it!

So much to tell before I fall asleep

Last night I fell asleep editing photos and I'm about to do that again.  Before I go to bed I thought I'd share a couple of stories.

After I dropped Noah off at school I headed to the gym.  On the highway there was a car driving up against the median.  I really think they were scraping along, but I'm not sure.  Anyway, I thought maybe they were sick, passed out or something.  I drove up next to them to see if I should call 911 and it was just a little old woman.  I really don't know how she did not crash.  She freaked me out so much that I slowed down so in case she did crash I would not be involved.  Well later down the road I came up to some police cars in the middle of the highway and I thought maybe she crashed.  Not at all thank God!  There was a police car in front and in back of her.  They just stopped her in the middle of the highway.  I was worried about them, that seemed very dangerous, but probably not as dangerous as that women driving.  It was pretty scary.

Caleb was cracking me up today.  I wanted to listen to the radio instead of the movie they were watching.  So, for the first time I decided to pull out the head phones for him to try.  I showed him how to put them on, then I tossed them back to him.  He tried to put them on and he could hear something.  Then he says,  "Ooooh, mommy that's cool.  That's cool mommy"  It was too cute.  He just kept putting them on and taking them off telling me how cool they were.  Then he tossed them to the side and told me he couldn't hear the movie.  I was cracking up!

No pics today.  I'm too tired to resize and post them.

OH, one last very cool thing.  I had a wonderful dinner Monday night with a couple photographer friends and was told to set up a facebook page.  Today I did just that, thanks Jodi and Kim!  I decied to check out people from my class and found that my old best friend from kindergarden to highschool was on there.  We talked on line all afternoon.  It was great to catch up with her.  I hope we will be able to get together sometime when she comes in town.  That was pretty cool.  My highschool reunion is coming up Thanksgiving weekend, so I've been thinking a lot about my old friends.

GOOD NIGHT for now!

SO CUTE!

How cute are these two?  I love my big boy.  He's totally sweet.
I love this family photo!

Bummer, the weekend is over....AGAIN!

Caleb is pointing out the fish  for Pop.  I told him to point at the fish and we would show Pop the picture, and he actually did it!  He's growing up.

The only way to get the boys to hold still is to stick them in the wagon.  It kind of worked :)  Noah was crying on this one.  He did a little better on the other ones, but this is really the best of all of us.

Now, when Elijah sees the camera he says CHEEEESE!  Yes, that is his first word.  To me that is too funny!  If you look closely at these images of Elijah, you can see his bottom tooth.  It's crazy.  Looking at the picture it's the bottom right tooth.  There's actually two teeth together as one.  I've never even heard of anything like that before, but there it is.  It's like one big tooth.

I LOVE THIS PHOTO of Noah!  I'm really excited.  I ordered this image in a 8 x 16.  I've never ordered that size, so I can't wait to see how it turns out.  He is SO very handsome.

This was from Thursday the last great day for  awhile I suppose.

Caleb was climbing the big hill in Robertsville State Park.

I don't know about you, but the time is reallly flying by these days.  I've been keeping busy with photography every weekend, lately.  This year I signed up for a few groups and Noah has school 2 days a week, so the week days are gone before I know it.  REALLY, it's almost Thanksgiving.  Thanksgiving weekend I have my 20, yes 20, year reunion from highschool.  I'm SO very old :)  It's funny, because I feel like I'm still 18.  Just as goofy as I was back then.

Anyway, about the weekend.  We are all WELL!!!!  That is BIG news.  Thursday I was called by a fantastic photographer, Sherry Rosenberger.  I shot a wedding with her a few weeks ago, and she was going to shoot with Dorinda this weekend, but was not able to do it.  So, Sherry called me to see if I could do it, and I could.  It was in Washington MO at a really pretty location.  It was SO very cold out and because of the time change it got dark fast.   We were not able to do too much outside.  It was a great wedding and a very cute couple.  Dorinda was a lot of fun to work with.  We had a nice dinner at the reception, but left before we got the cake.  Bummer, it smelled really good.

Saturday, I had off!!!  That was cool.  We set out to try and take some pictures for our Christmas card.  We went to Robertsville State Park.  It was SO cold out.  Noah was very sad at first because he was so sleepy and cold.  Friday night he spent the night with Ooma and Pop and I guess he didn't get enough sleep.  After a little bit he snaped out of it and I got some great photos of him.

Today I had two sessions scheduled.  We, as a family, went out to the covered bridge off of 21 to take more pictures of the family.  I'm about to edit those images and I think we got an even better family photo.  I'm excited to see those, so I need to go.  Anyway, one family had to cancel because they were sick and they didn't want to be outside with all their children on  such a cold day.  That was alright for me.  It would have been really cold.  We may be doing that session in the spring.  The next session was a newborn session.  I'm excited to see those images.  What cute kids.  I'll try and post those images later.

Oh My GOSH!!!! Snaptotes.com ROCKS!!

I got my bags today and they are SO VERY COOL!!!!  I'll post pics later, but I need some sleep.  I bought me a purse and messenger bag and 3 bags for Christmas gifts.  They turned out great!  I just ordered a pillow and cannot wait to get it.  I'm going to have to not go crazy with bags.  It's kind of an addiction for me.

Tomorrow I have to go to conferences for Noah.  That is too cute.  He's just 4 and in preschool, but they have conferences.  Last year when I went I felt like I was going to get in trouble.  Really, that's what you do when you have to go see your teacher after class, right?  I was never one to get in trouble at school so maybe that is why I get nervous.  He's such a good boy I bet the report will be great!

Night Night for now.

Out with my boys

Yesterday I spent some time at Faust Park TRYING to take a picture of my boys together.  My boys are SO VERY handsome!  I could not, by myself, get them all together and take the picture.  I did get some cute ones of Noah.  He's too handsome for is own good.  And Elijah, my new walker.  Too cute.  Now there is Caleb.  I did get a couple, but he's a tough one.  He's two and has a mind of his own.  The picture of Caleb I love.  I was calling to Elijah and saying "Elijah, where's Caleb?  Where's Caleb?" in my high squeeky mommy voice.  Caleb walks over to me and looks up like...here I am, see mom.  I love his smile.  The one here of the three boys is the best one I got that day.  It's hard to get your own kids looking good all at once and by yourself.  Oh well, I think it's cute.  That is just them right now.
